true home and connectedness

We don't all live at home. Don't even get to see it very often. But it can be inspiring when we get a glimpse.
It was at a small gift shop near here that I purchased this a couple of years ago. I specifically selected this one because when I was a child I often found four-leaf clovers. At the time of purchase I neglected to find out who made it but upon revisiting earlier this year, learned it was Stephanie Lee.

transitioning

"The hardest part of artmaking is living you life in such a way that your work gets done, over and over - and that means, among other things, finding a host of practices that are just plain useful. A piece of art is the surface expression of a life lived within productive patterns. Over time, the life of a productive artist becomes filled with useful conventions and practical methods, so that a string of finished pieces continues to appear at the surface." pg. 61-62, Art and Fear by David Bayles and Ted Orland
